Ingredients

  • 400 grams firm tofu
  • 200 grams rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and add tofu. Cook until golden and crispy on all sides.
  3. Prepare the peanut sauce by mixing peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, and a splash of water until smooth.
  4. Once the tofu is cooked, remove it from the pan and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add cooked rice noodles and toss with peanut sauce.
