Ingredients

  • 500g ground turkey
  • 200g zucchini
  • 200g bell peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • zest of 1 orange
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • fresh cilantro for garnish
  • olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add a bit of oil and sauté one chopped onion until translucent.
  2. Add 500g of ground turkey to the pan, breaking it up with a wooden spoon and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Incorporate diced zucchini (200g) and diced bell peppers (200g) into the skillet, cooking until just tender.
  5. Zest one orange and one lemon directly into the skillet, stirring well.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh cilantro, and let cool before portioning into meal prep containers.
