Ingredients

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 300g ground turkey
  • 50g breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 300ml marinara sauce
  • 50g grated cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Form small meatballs from the mixture, approximately one inch in diameter.
  5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Once the meatballs are done, combine the cooked spaghetti with some marinara sauce in a bowl.
  7. Take a small portion of the spaghetti mix and fill each muffin cup, creating a nest.
  8. Top each spaghetti nest with a meatball and add more marinara sauce on top.
  9. Sprinkle cheese over each cup.
  10. Bake in the oven for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin and serving.
