Ingredients

  • 500g pork belly
  • 1 small head of red cabbage, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place the pork belly skin-side up on a baking tray.
  3. Season the pork belly with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast in the oven for 50-60 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. While the pork is roasting, shred the cabbage.
  6. In a frying pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  7. Add the shredded cabbage to the frying pan and sauté for about 10 minutes until tender.
  8. Once the pork is done, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Serve the sliced pork belly over the sautéed cabbage.
