Ingredients

  • 500 grams lean beef
  • 60 milliliters soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large eggs
  • 100 grams almonds

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the beef jerky. Slice lean beef into thin strips and marinate with soy sauce, garlic powder, and pepper for at least 4 hours.
  2. Preheat the oven to 70°C (160°F) or set your dehydrator according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Place the marinated beef strips onto baking sheets in a single layer.
  4. Dehydrate the beef in the oven or dehydrator for about 6-8 hours, checking regularly until fully dried.
  5. While the jerky is drying, boil water in a pot and gently add eggs. Boil for 10 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
  6. After 10 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool, then peel the eggs once cool.
  7. Toast the almonds lightly in a dry skillet over medium heat for added flavor (optional).
  8. Once the jerky is ready, assemble your snack box by placing strips of beef jerky, hard-boiled eggs, and almonds in a container.
