Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup lentils
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Breadcrumbs for coating
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook 1 cup of rice according to package instructions. Let it cool.
  2. In a saucepan, cook 1 cup of lentils with 3 cups of water until tender, then drain.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, lentils, 1 cup of frozen peas, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste, mixing everything until well combined.
  5. Shape the mixture into nugget-sized balls or patties.
  6. Coat each nugget in breadcrumbs for a crispy texture.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
