Ingredients

  • 250g whole grain pasta
  • 100g basil pesto
  • 200g cherry tomatoes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese (optional), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook 250g of whole grain pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 100g of basil pesto with the cooked pasta, mixing thoroughly to coat.
  3. Halve 200g of cherry tomatoes and mix them into the pasta.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the pasta into a serving dish or meal prep containers.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and, if desired, shaved Parmesan cheese.
  7. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or serve immediately.
