Ingredients

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 400g ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 100g breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 200ml marinara sauce
  • 100g shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, and seasonings; form into small meatballs.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook meatballs until browned on all sides;
  5. Add marinara sauce to the skillet with meatballs, simmering for a few minutes.
  6. Line muffin tins with cupcake liners, then add a portion of spaghetti into each liner.
  7. Place one meatball on top of the spaghetti in each cup.
  8. Spoon additional marinara sauce over each meatball and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  9. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, then serve warm.
